The city and its surroundings offer several breathtaking attractions, but some of them simply stand out from the crowd and are worth seeing. Our hotel and hostel accommodation with a total capacity of 45 places is located in the village of Bašanija, 5 km north of Umag. On the ground floor we offer private rooms with private bathroom and other accessories. On the first floor of the building there are another 5 private rooms with their own sink. For these rooms there are shared showers and bathrooms on the first floor. The undeniable advantage of our accommodation is the Czech-speaking staff.

Beaches and swimming

The distance to the clear sea is about 400 meters. On the local very varied coast you will find pebble beaches with a gradual entry into the sea and a partially rocky coast, where is more privacy. The entire coast offers snorkelling and diving opportunities. The offer of beaches in the near distance can be seen in the attached gallery. Sea urchins are a rarity here.

Restaurants and bars

Part of the accommodation is a quality and affordable restaurant, where you can treat yourself to the fruits of the Adriatic Sea or chicken, pork and beef in several ways. The restaurant also offers a fantastic pizza baked in a wood-fired stone oven. As a bonus, our guests have a 10% discount on the entire range.

There are several other restaurants, a patisserie and a bar nearby. The famous Bora-Bora disco is over 800 meters away. That’s close enough for you to have fun in the evening, but far enough so you don’t even notice the noise of the disco during your stay.

Spare time

In Umag, 5 km away, you can find a famous sports resort, with many opportunities for your sports activities. Within a distance of 250 meters there are four tennis courts, a football field, mini golf or ping – pong tables.

Along the sea you can run to a few kilometers distant sports field with public exercise machines. There is a training tennis center and also quality facilities for football teams.

We also recommend using the local bike paths that line the coast. Bicycle rental is 150 meters away. Some sections of bike paths are also very passable on roller skates.

Other fun activities can be for example diving or paintball.

In conclusion

Last but not least, you will definitely appreciate the adjacent SuperMarket and ATM (both just across the road). In Umag, 5 km away, there are Lidl, Kaufland, Interspar and Konzum.
